BRUSSELS (ANA/C. Vasilaki) – European commissioner in charge of Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici called on Greece’s lenders to agree on a comprehensive deal for the country, in a statement to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Friday.
“I am aware how difficult it has been for the Greek government and the parliament to take these decisions that bring us a large step closer to completing the second program review. We now need all partners to cooperate constructively to achieve a comprehensive agreement,” he said, commenting on the Greek parliament’s approval on Thursday of a new round of prior actions.
“It’s is time to open a new and optimistic chapter for Greece,” he added.
