Greece’s industrial import price composite index grew 4.2 pct in July this year compared with the same month in 2016, after a 3.2 pct decline recorded in the same 2016/2015 period, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Thursday.
The statistics service, in a monthly report on the so-called imported inflation, announced the import price index from Eurozone countries rose 0.8 pct and the index from countries outside Eurozone rose 7.6 pct in July.
The index was up 1.4 pct on a monthly basis, after a 0.9 pct drop recorded in the same period last year.
