Enterprise Greece has set up business meetings for companies that export construction materials on October 2-3 in Thessaloniki. Participants will include executives from 30 import and construction companies in Arab and North African countries, who will meet executives from more than 50 Greek export companies in the same sector. The event is organised with the support of the Greek International Business Association.
The buyers come from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Kenya. The programme aims to offer the Greek companies an opportunity to organize pre-arranged meetings with foreign buyers and explore potential cooperation while learning about the prevailing conditions and competition in the target market.
Enterprise Greece general director Ilias Athanassiou noted: “Enterprise Greece… is also active in the promotion of Greek companies’ exports. Since a successful course in the global trade market constitutes a major growth factor for contemporary Greek business, for this reason our organisation actively supports companies in their efforts to establish new business contacts with companies worldwide.”
