Only one in three Greek retailers are aware that “Black Friday” will be held this week on November 24 but the percentage of stores offering ‘Black Friday’ discounts will be higher than in 2016, according to a survey carried out by the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE).
“Only one year after the introduction of Black Friday in Greece, its duration has been extended from one day to three, even a week,” ESEE president Vassilis Korkidis announced on Thursday.
Nevertheless, the number of enterprises intending to participate has increased to 19 pct, from 15 pct in 2016.
