The Greek merchant fleet rose by 0.7% in October 2017, compared with October 2016, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced on Monday, after a 0.3% increase recorded in October 2016, compared with October 2015.
ELSTAT also announced that the gross tonnage of the Greek merchant fleet, for vessels of 100 GRT and over, recorded an increase of 0.5% in October 2017, compared with October 2016. An increase of 0.6% was also observed in October 2016, compared with October 2015.
