Ten million euros will be distributed on Christmas Eve (Sunday) to 10,000 lucky taxpayers through a lottery the finance ministry is basing on purchases or payments made by taxpayers electronically or through cards, according to ANA.
The lottery covers receipts from January to November 2017, and 10,000 winners will each receive 1,000 euros.
The results of the lottery will be posted on “www.aade.gr” website. The winners of the lottery for January 2017 will be posted at 14:00, the Finance Ministry announced on Sunday.
