Minister: We will not leave any Greek industry to its fate

“After a long and difficult struggle the 180 laid off workers of the Hellenic Fertilisers Industry are justified. We welcome their return to the Industry and the vindication of their fight which we supported from the first minute” stated Alternate Economy and Development Minister responsible for the Industry, Alexis Charitsis to Athens Macedonian News Agency after the deal met on the employees return to their positions and the payment of their outstanding wages.

He alse added that “the productive reconstruction and the recovery of the economy pass through the strenghtening of the industrial sector and the total respect to the workers’ rights. In cooperation with the co-responsible ministries we will continue to monitor the implementation of the agreement and the course of the company’s consolidation in order the legality to be restored and that employees to be totally protected. We will not leave the Fertilisers Industry, or any other industry, to its fate”.
