The multi-bill on the prior actions required to complete Greece’s program review includes legislation to set up a new agency that will fight major financial crime, will be directly supervised by the finance minister and headed by a new financial crime prosecutor, ANA reports.
The new agency will be staffed by 135 auditors, housed at the finance ministry and named “Financial Crime Investigation Directorate”, according to the bill.
