The Greek unemployment rate recorded the biggest percentage drop in the EU in the September 2016 – September 2017 period, falling from 23.2 pct to 20.5 pct, Eurostat said on Tuesday, ΑΜΝΑ reported.
In a report released here, the EU executive΄s statistics agency noted, nevertheless, that the unemployment rate in Greece remained the highest in the EU. The unemployment rate in Greece fell to 20.5 pct in September from 20.7 pct in August.
