Greek state budget records primary surplus of 2.7 billion euros in January

The Greek state budget recorded a primary surplus of 2.7 billion euros on a cash basis in January, the Bank of Greece said on Friday, according to ANA

 In a report, the central bank announced that the state budget had showed a surplus of 248 million euros in January 2017 and attributed this year’s development to an increase in regular budget revenue to 4.158 billion euros, from 3.694 billion euros in January 2017. Regular budget spending amounted to 3.043 billion euros in January from 3.191 billion in the same month last year.
