Greek state arrears to the private sector eased to 2.443 billion euros in January from 2.537 billion in December 2017, while pending tax returns fell to 691.9 million euros from 765.3 million in the same periods, respectively, the State Accounting Office said in a report released on Monday, according to ANA.
The report noted that payment of general government’s arrears to the private sector totaled 20.9 million euros in January, while payment of pending tax returns totaled 7.0 million euros and payment of pending pensions was 34.1 million euros in January 2018.
