Greek Deputy Finance Minister Katerina Papanatsiou said on Wednesday that preparations are in full swing for converting invoices to electronic form, connecting cash registers with the tax office and the electronic monitoring of tax books, ANA reports.
“The next step in this area is making invoices electronic and connecting cash machines with tax authorities in real time, along with putting tax books on line – a step the Finance Ministry and the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has been preparing and will be apply on a pilot basis in 2019,” she added.
