The economy and development ministry will soon take steps to further simplify procedures for the licencing, establishment and operation of manufacturing enterprises, Alternate Economy Minister Alexis Charitsis agreed in a meeting with the heads of the institutions’ staff level missions in Athens on Friday, ANA reports.
As was noted during the meeting, the minister revealed, the ministry is already in the process of producing a set of measures in this direction, through dialogue with the business community, and sees such simplification as essential for improving the business climate and business production. In addition to the dialogue with businesses, proposals are also formulated through consultation with the World Bank, which has acted as an advisor on this issue.
