Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura met on Friday with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Secretary General Angel Gurria in Paris where they discussed developing closer ties in the field of tourism, ANA reports.
Gurria congratulated the Greek minister on the high performing tourism sector during the last three years and on the particular growth in 2018. He welcomed the results brought on by Greece’s tourism policy that targets sustainable tourism development and a year round tourism season.
