Vacant job positions up 193.4% in Greece during Q4 2018

The number of vacant job positions in the Greek economy soared 193.4 pct in the fourth quarter of 2018 compared with the same period in 2017, totaling 8,288 positions, after a 55.3 pct decline recorded in the same period in 2017/2016, Hellenic Statistical Authority said in a report released on Monday, according to ANA.

The statistics service, in a report, noted that vacant job positions are considered either new job positions, an already vacant position or a position likely to be vacant soon. All these job positions refer only to wage earners.
