BoG report: Greek state budget records primary deficit during H1 2019

Greek state budget showed a primary deficit of 1.9 billion euros on a cash basis in the first half of 2019 from a surplus of 6.4 billion euros in the same period last year, the Bank of Greece said on Wednesday, according to ANA.

The central bank announced the general government’s cash deficit was 3.388 billion euros in the January-June period, from a deficit of 1.878 billion in the same period in 2018.
