Greek Finance Minister Christos Staikouras announced on Tuesday that the government intends to broaden the criteria for granting the heating subsidy to households, while also establishing an advance payment ahead of the winter period, ANA reports.
For 2020, he referred to specific measures, such as the tax advance, an increase of the minimum guaranteed income and the business tax.
He also confirmed that the government’s aim is to launch the new 24-48 debt settlement scheme, which will be included in the state budget, on January 1, 2020.
