Greek government spokesperson Stelios Petsas announced that 90 pct of the ‘social dividend’ benefits will be paid on Monday, with the rest to be paid on Tuesday, ANA reports.
“It is a technical issue, concerning the banks. If they are able to upload the details of the beneficiaries by noon [on Monday], the money will be paid into their accounts by [Monday] afternoon and for those they don’t have time to complete, it will be Tuesday…in any case, the process will have finished by the 31st of the month,” Petsas noted, in an interview with the television station “Star Central Greece” late on Sunday.
