New arrears to the State of 8,018 billion euros were created in the twelve months January – December 2019, showing, however, a significant decline by 26.73%, compared to the increase in 2018, int.ert.gr reports.
This is according to the data provided by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), which reported that in December 2019, new arrears to the State amounted to 1.065 billion euros as opposed to 1.254 billion euros in the corresponding month of 2018.
The number of debtors in December dropped by 4% compared to November, amounting to 4,068,908 debtors.
