The European Commission’s assessment of the economic impact of the coronavirus and the implementation of the measures taken so far at a European level will be the focus of Thursday’s meeting of the EU Council of Ministers of Economy and Finance (Ecofin), which will be held by video conference at 16:30 (Greek time), ANA reports.
As announced by the European Council, the main issues on the Ecofin agenda are:
– The economic impact of the COVID-19 disease crisis and political reaction
– Bank lending for households and businesses
– European Semester
– IMF spring meeting
