“All measures that are fiscally possible will be taken,” announced Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis in an interview with SKAI TV on Tuesday, according to ANA.
Asked about the possibility of a reduction in VAT, the minister said that a new package of measures for restaurants and tourism will be announced in the next days, adding: “If we see that the coronavirus cases are not increasing then we may proceed with a faster opening of restaurants. We have a plan and adopt proposals from the market, we are aware of the problem and we, as a government, are doing what is right.”
