Roughly 250,000 pensioners will see their supplementary pensions increase on June 2, Labour and Social Affairs Minister Yiannis Vroutsis said on Sunday while speaking on SKAI television.
“A green light has been given by the prime minister himself,” Vroutsis said, pointing out that the move corrected a great injustice done to the previous SYRIZA government to this group of pensioners, who will see their pensions go up by sums ranging from five to 200 euros a month, for an average increase of 99.50 euros.
