PM's economic adviser: Greece will not have the deepest recession in EU

Alexis Patelis, chief economic adviser to Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on Tuesday, expressed his confidence that Greece will not be the country with the deepest recession in the Eurozone, ANA reports.

In comments made to Reuters news agency, Patelis based his estimate to the duration of a smaller lockdown in the country compared with other Eurozone countries and to data, such as e-transactions and transport- which show that the economy is gradually returning to normality.
