Greek tax bureau employees will go on a nationwide work stoppage, from 11:30 until the end of their shift on Friday, in solidarity with the employees of the Kozani Tax Office who were attacked at their workplace, ANA reports.
According to the Panhellenic Federation of Workers in Tax Offices, Thursday’s attack by an ax-wielding member of the public is the latest in a series of daily episodes and delinquent behaviors towards tax office staff, who experience terror almost every day.
