In a statement on the timetable for activating the European Recovery Fund and the government’s plan for a rapid economic recovery, Finance Minister Christos Staikouras announced that the disbursement will start in 2021, based on the national strategic plan to be submitted by the Greek government, mid-October, int.ert.gr reports.
“The dual goal is to support the Greek economy short term and to adequately address the economic and social consequences of the health crisis and secondly to lay the foundations for the rapid and sustainable recovery of the Greek economy”, noted Mr. Staikouras.
