€40 million to Greek municipalities to deal with Covid-19 consequences

The amount of 40 million euros will be distributed among 119 municipalities of the country by decision of Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos, according to an announcement on Friday, ANA reports.

This is the second tranche of emergency help to primary local government to cover emergencies and urgent needs caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to raise liquidity following the reduction of their revenues, as a result of the restrictive measures imposed.
