Greek Finance Minister Christos Staikouras on Thursday unveiled a new package of measures – a safety net – for taxpayers with debt created during and after the lockdown, ANA reports.
More specifically, the safety net framework envisages a new repayment settlement for current tax obligations during the period March-June 2020, the reviving of lost settlements for debtors hit by the pandemic who could not pay their debt during the March-September 2020 period, and, thirdly, a 120-tranche debt settlement for loans carrying Greek state guarantees.
