Hellenic Statistical Authority: Inflation drops to 7.2% in December 2022

The CPI in December 2022 compared with December 2021, increased by 7.2%. In December 2021, the annual rate of change of the CPI was 5.1%, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority, ANA reports.

The average CPI for the twelve-month period from January 2022 to December 2022, compared with the corresponding index for the period from January 2021 to December 2021 increased by 9.6%. The annual rate of change of the average CPI between the twelve-month period January 2021 to December 2021 in comparison to the period January 2020 to December 2020 was 1.2%.
