The rate of increase in inflation slowed further to 4.6% in March this year, from 6.1% in February as a result of lower energy prices, and compared to an increase of 8.9% in March 2022, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority on Monday, ANA reports.
The increase in the Overall CPI in March 2023, compared with the corresponding index in March 2022 is, mainly, due to the changes in the groups of goods and services such as 7.5% in the group Hotel-Cafés-Restaurants, due to the increase, mainly, in the prices of restaurants-confectioneries-cafes buffets, hotels-motels-inns.
