Greek budget recorded 2.434 billion euros primary surplus in January-April

The Greek state budget recorded a primary surplus of 2.434 billion euros in the January-April period, up from a budget target for a surplus of 869 million and a primary deficit of 799 million euros in the same period last year, the finance ministry said on Monday, according to ANA.
 In a report on budget execution on an amended cash basis, the ministry noted the general government balance showed a deficit of 798 million euros in the four-month period, from a budget target for a shortfall of 3.829 billion euros and a deficit of 3.316 billion last year.
