Tax authorities enable payments with foreign bank cards in Greece

Taxpayers now have the possibility to use foreign-issued payment cards in their transactions with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), ANA reports.

In particular, the system of acceptance of payments via foreign-issued cards in the EFT/POS and e-POS network of the AADE, as well as e-POS for the e-Parabolo has been put into operation.

Taxpayers can now fulfill their tax and other obligations, such as payment of ENFIA, e-Parabolo, leisure and day ships fees, and other certified debts, using foreign-issued cards, bearing the logos of the international organizations VISA and MASTERCARD.
