Minister launches dynamic plan to boost Greece's relations with other countries

The political leadership of the Agricultural Development and Food Ministry has recently launched an “agricultural diplomacy” program aiming to expand Greek products to new markets, ANA reports.
Greek minister Lefteris Avgenakis has visited more than 25 foreign countries, both within and outside the European Union, in an effort to strengthen Greece’s relations internationally in the field of agri-food, as well as enhance relations, within the EU, to promote the positions of our country within the Union.
As a result of the malfunctions in the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the minister in charge also developed an initiative for the Group of Mediterranean Countries “EUMED9” to meet on issues of Agriculture and Fisheries.
