The deadline for tax declarations was extended to August 2 for individuals and August 9 for legal entities, the National Economy & Finance Ministry announced on Thursday, ANA reports.
The deadline for the payment of the first installment of tax owed is also postponed to August 2 for individuals, and August 9 for legal entities, it said.
Commenting on the progress of tax filings so far, and based on Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) data, the ministry said that from the start of filing on April 25, 2024, until its announcement, a total of 6,068,600 individuals had filed their taxes. Legal entities had filed 252,542 declarations so far, since the filing for them started on May 1. So far, of the total declarations to be filed, 93.3% of individuals have filed already and 81.8% of legal entities have.
