Greek government Spokesman Pavlos Marinakis in an interview with Parapolitika discussed the budget forecasts for 2025, emphasizing that citizens’ incomes are expected to increase more than the rise in prices next year. He attributed this optimistic outlook to the de-escalation of inflation. “Therefore, regarding disposable income, the gap with Europe will narrow,” he stressed, according to ANA.
Marinakis stressed that tax reductions and budget interventions are being implemented under two key conditions. First, they must directly benefit citizens and have a positive impact on their lives. Second, the measures must be sustainable within the constraints of the national budget.
