The interventions will be implemented by the state-owned company in cooperation with the School of Civil Engineering and the School of Architecture of the University of Skopje. The process for securing financing and selecting a contractor, according to the plan, should be completed within 2026 with the aim of delivering the projects within six years, which will coincide with the start of operation of the high-speed railway on Corridor 10 and the railway section to Skopje International Airport. According to the same announcement, the financing will be covered either from the state budget or in the form of a loan from international institutional lenders such as the EBRD, the EIB and commercial banks, while the possibility of entering into cooperation with Britain, which also provides a credit guarantee for the implementation of the railway project on axis 10, was mentioned.

The information comes from the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs in Skopje.
