In total, according to data from Athens International Airport, during the first eleven months of the year passenger traffic reached 31.68 million travelers, marking an increase of 6.6 percent. Domestic and international traffic grew by 2.0 percent and 8.5 percent respectively.
The 11.5 percent rise in international passenger traffic in November is noteworthy, reflecting the trend toward year-round tourism in Athens.
Flights
The number of flights at Athens International Airport during the first eleven months of 2025 reached 264,113, recording an increase of 5.6 percent compared with 2024. Domestic flights rose by 1.1 percent, while international flights increased by 8.8 percent compared with the same period in 2024.
