The President of the Israeli parliament, known as ‘Knesset’, Yuli-Yoel Edelstein is scheduled to visit Greece on July 13-15 for the first in the history of the two countries. His visit was finalised after the invitation of the President of the Greek parliament, Nikos Voutsis.
During his 2-day stay in Greece, Edelstein will meet with the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos and the Greek PM Alexis Tsipras.
He will also deliver a brief speech at the joint Greek-Israeli committee on foreign affairs and defence.
