Greek Parliament President Nikos Voutsis send a letter to his European counterparts on Monday asking for their feedback and exchange of information and views regarding technical issues that may rise during the study on the content and procedures followed when signing transatlantic trade deals.
Voutsis also informed his counterparts in his letter that the Greek parliament will set up a special committee to debate the content and the procedures for signing transatlantic trade agreements (ΤΤΙΡ,CETA, TISA).
The minister said the committee will issue an opinion on the temporary implementation of CETA before a decision is taken by the EU Council in October 2016 and notes the importance of cooperation between parliaments on this issue.
