Greek PM: We will continue our struggle for German reparations

We will continue to struggle at all levels based on a plan, strategy and solid legal documentation. This is an initiative of national importance and we will do what is necessary at both diplomatic and legal level to meet this obligation,” Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Tuesday referring to the claim of German reparations and the occupation loan, in his address at the ceremony for the commemoration of the 317 Greeks that were massacred by the occupying German troops on 16 August 1943.

Referring to the claim of the German reparations and the occupation loan, the prime minister also stressed that “there is a coherent national strategy on the initiative and coordination of the Greek Parliament.”
