The conference of presidents of Parliamentary Committees will convene on Monday, at 17.00, to attempt to reach consensus and form a new National Council for Radio and Television (NCRTV), following the government’s decision to propose a former minister that served in a main opposition New Democracy government, Vyron Polydoras, to head the Council.
“We will know tonight what will happen,” the President of the Parliament Nikos Voutsis said.
On his part, Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos said that “in the meeting we will see whether there is consensus on the formation of a National Council for Radio and Television.”
