Eurogroup head Dijsselbloem: Pensions are not on the negotiating table

A spokesperson for the chief of the Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem has clarified that media reports on a documents regarding “social security measures” do not refer to the pension, but rather the minimum guaranteed income.

In the document submitted to the Dutch Parliament ahead of each Eurogroup, the Finance Minister referred to measures concerning both the pension system and labor reforms, which are expected to be the focus of talks during the second review of Greece’s program.
