The number of TV licences in Greece will be decided after consultations between the government and the political forces with the consent of the National Council for Radio and Television, Digital Policy, Media and Information Minister Nikos Pappas on Tuesday said in statements to SKAI radio.
Asked whether he insists on the number (four) of licences, he said that the number may be higher.
Referring to the US President Barack Obama’s visit and whether SYRIZA has changed stance, he said that the US have recently, mainly under Obama’s presidency, adopted an agenda against austerity policies in Europe.
On the negotiations with the institutions, he said that the government aims to respect the agreements adding that the latest economic figures show signs of stabilisation and recovery.
