Cyprus, along with seven other member state governments, will receive a warning from the European Commission today for its draft budgetary plans for 2017.
Cyprus is “at risk of non-compliance” according to CNA English diplomatic sources.
European Commissioners Valdis Dombrovskis, Pierre Moscovici and Marianne Thyssen are reportedly set to present their opinion on Cyprus’ draft budgetary plans on Wednesday.
According to CNA English, their statement will place Cyprus within the non-compliance list along with Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Slovenia and Lithuania.
