Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday on the Cyprus issue and the EU-Turkey deal on refugees, his office said.
The two leaders discussed in a phone call developments in Cyprus talks and the procedure followed and agreed to talk in the next few days, if necessary. On the refugee issue, Tsipras said the EU-Turkey deal is necessary, adding he supports Ankara’s request “to receive from the EU what the country is entitled.”
