The Greek government is considering to implement special policies for the islands, said Deputy Shipping and Islands Policy minister Nektarios Santorinios during his visit to Rhodes adding that the relevant initiatives will be announced by the end of the year.
According to Santorinios, the government “must bring the state close to the citizen and because in the last years the state, due to the memorandum policies, was absent we must find a way the islander to feel the state near him.”
