At the event for the signing of the contracts for the Joint Investment Superfund, Greek PM Tsipras stated that the country, after seven years of recession, now stands on the threshold of financial recovery.
The Prime Minister spoke of a contemporary, extrovert model suitable to meet the challenges of the globalized economy and to help meet the massive flee of highly qualified young people abroad. The Joint Investment Superfund is a 260 million euros investment by the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund which will be given to innovative SMEs.
PM Tsipras reiterated that it is the government’s intention to promptly complete the 2nd assessment in order not to jeopardize the positive momentum that has been created.
Later on, the Prime Minister attended the celebration for the unaccompanied refugee children that took place in the Parliament.
