The committee of inquiry examining the legality of loans granted by banks to political parties will submit its final report to the parliament president Nikos Voutsis a week later than initially stated, on January 23, it announced on Friday.
The members of the committee decided unanimously to postpone by a week the submission so that all parties have time to prepare their proposals and suggestions and while the committee attempts to form some joint conclusions in the final text.
On Monday (Jan. 16), the majority will give its own report to the parties while on Thursday, the committee will convene to examine these proposals and see where they agree and disagree.
