Greek parliament's probe into media and party loans concludes on Monday

The work of a Parliamentary investigating committee looking into the legality of bank loans given to political parties and media companies will conclude on Monday evening with a vote on the final proposals put forward by the political parties. After the vote, the committee will immediately deliver its report to Parliament President Nikos Voutsis.

As Voutsis earlier announced, a debate on the report before the plenum will take place on Wednesday week, on February 1, while the relevant request signed by 60 MPs – as required by Parliament rules – is expected to be submitted on Tuesday.
