Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras have discussed the latest developments in the Cyprus problem on the side-lines of an EU Council Summit on Friday, SigmaLive has learnt.
According to SigmaLive’s information, President Anastasiades informed Tsipras about the Cyprus problem, and on other issues.
Sigmalive learnt that both Anastasiades and Tsipras discussed better cooperation between Nicosia and Athens, Greco-Turkish relations, and trilateral relations with Israel, Egypt, and Jordan.
After the meeting government spokesperson Nikos Christodoulides said that both the President and the Prime Minister discussed an upcoming EU Mediterranean Group (EUMED) meeting to be held in Spain at the beginning of April.
