Indications of the newspaper “Documento” that the pharmaceutical company “Novartis” and other industries have won more than 65 million euros by order of former Health Minister Adonis Georgiades, on government of the New Democracy and only a few days before the former Minister left his portfolio have caused acute confrontation between government and opposition.
The Prime Minister’s press office has issued a statement commenting on the seriousness of the accusations and stressing that the Greek people are waiting for answers.
For his part, Adonis Georgiades denies the accusations and speaks of denigration mechanisms.
